Phoenix International Business Logistics, Inc. (PIBL) has been appointed the official International Freight Forwarder and Customs Broker for the 2011 World Police & Fire Games.
PIBL has offices in New Jersey and Las Vegas, Nevada and offers customized fairs and exhibitions services to domestic and foreign exhibitors participating in trade shows and exhibitions worldwide. Their trade show specialists have more than 30 years of experience in guiding clients through the intricacies of preparing the transport and customs clearance of their exhibits to trade shows, on time and on budget.
Several organizations have requested PIBL’s services to transport equipment to and from the Games, including 900 pounds of equipment for a hockey team and a large fire hose cart from a Canadian fire department. “We are honored to be appointed the Customs Broker and Freight Forwarder for the upcoming New York Police and Fire Games, such an important series of events,” said Phil Hobson, President of PIBL. “We look forward to working with the participants and World Police & Fire Games Management to insure all shipments are cleared and delivered to each event on time.”
The 2011 World Police & Fire Games will be held in New York City from August 26 – September 5. More than 15,000 police officers and firefighters from over 70 countries will compete in 69 sports during the 11-day competition. The event begins with a grand opening ceremony, and continues with numerous planned social events and a memorial service spread throughout the week. The festivities culminate with the passing of the flag to the following host at the closing ceremony.
